| East Tennessee Battleflag. This true St. Andrew's Cross battleflag was used by the Army of Kentucky in the Dept. of East Tennessee before it merged with the Army of Tennessee. Surviving flags do not have stars. However, according to Katcher & Scollins (pp. 22,24), Gen. Beauregard described seeing some of these flags with blue or gold stars. The latter is represented here. A replica, about 30" x 36", is $250. |

Battleflag of the Texan Parson's Cavalry. There were a good number of Texan battleflags that had this appearance: a blue cross without white fimbration (trimming) and a large, central star. This flag is 34" x 42." A replica would be $250. |
| Many different kinds of flags were used under the commmand of Gen. Richard Taylor. This style is famous for the reversal of the usual colors of the St. Andrew's cross flag. A replica starts at $200. |
| This style flag was designed for the troops of Bishop Leonidas Polk. The use of the St. George's cross instead of the St. Andrews is thought to have reflected the general's Episcopalean sympathies. This particular example is the batteflag of the 1st Tennessee Regiment. The replica is $200. |
